Rev John Bower hosted an art exhibition and sale of his paintings at St Cuthbert’s Church Hall on Saturday 28th May. The amazing display of watercolours and acrylic paintings took many by surprise by their variety and quality. His display included 60 mounted pictures and many more that were unframed. The sale was well attended by the general public and people from the various churches where the event had been publicised.
John generously donated all the pictures sold to the charity. The event raised £1500 from the sale of artwork and there were further donations of £370. Thank you to him and all those that came along to enjoy the exhibition and share a cuppa with us. Thanks also to those that supported in many ways to make this day such a great success.
